Integrity
Code of ethics
The standard every member, professional and technician signs before taking part.
Version 2.1, published 31 October 2026

This code binds every Fursa365 member, and in particular every professional and technician on the panel. Breach leads to suspension or removal and, where the law allows, a report to the relevant professional board or authority.
1. Integrity
- Tell the truth in every listing, request, report and message.
- Do not offer, ask for or accept a bribe, facilitation payment or improper benefit. Corruption is a crime under the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Act and its equivalents elsewhere.
- Do not hide who really owns or controls what you offer.
2. Independence and conflicts
- Declare every financial, family or business interest in a deal before you act on it.
- A professional does not act for both sides of a deal without both sides' written consent.
- No commission, gift or fee from any party that your client has not approved in writing.
3. Competence
- Accept only work within your qualifications, registration and experience.
- Professionals keep any registration their profession requires, for example with the Engineers Registration Board, the Valuers Registration Board or the National Board of Accountants and Auditors, and show it on request.
- Statements of mineral resources or reserves are made only by a Competent Person under a recognised code such as JORC, NI 43-101 or SAMREC.
4. Objective reporting
- Report what you found, how, when and where, and state what you could not check.
- Never guarantee grade, yield, value, income or outcome.
- Sign and date every report and keep working papers.
5. Confidentiality and data
- Use deal information only for the engagement it was shared for.
- Handle personal data under the law that applies, including the Personal Data Protection Act.
6. Fair dealing
- No pressure tactics, fake urgency or invented competing bids.
- Fees agreed in writing before work starts.
- No contact with the other party behind your client's back to divert the deal.
7. Safety, community and environment
- Follow site safety rules and use protective equipment.
- Respect landowners, villages and communities, and report harm.
8. Reporting misconduct
Report suspected breaches to [email protected] or the WhatsApp desk +255 747 912 965 with the listing reference. Reports are reviewed by someone not involved in the deal, and nobody is penalised for an honest report.
